Christ the King Lutheran

Welcome to Christ the King Lutheran Church

“We are travelers on a journey – yearning to believe.”

These are more than just words, they are our story. “We come in our different ways, walking in our own styles, at our own speeds…but we come to join the journey.” Join us. Get involved. Strengthen your faith and discover a new relationship with Christ the King.

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  —  Romans 8:38-39

We come in our different ways, and what matters most on Sundays isn’t what we say or do; what matters most is Christ, and the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit in that sacred moment. What matters is the simple understanding that you are a child of God – by His grace alone – and you are dearly loved.

“But Jesus called for them and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.” — Luke 18:16-17

God continues to speak to us each day … in new and different ways, and that’s why Christian education matters. Each Sunday and throughout the week, there are educational opportunities at Christ the King. Join a class (or teach) – follow the Spirit’s call to explore God’s word and discover a new creation in Christ (in you).

“Render service with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not to men and women…” Ephesians 6:7

Service is part of our identity as a Christian community. We serve together – each with our own gifts – sharing Christ’s love where we are … and there’s always room for an extra hand. Some of our ministries include:

Feast of Grace

Join us for a freshly cooked meal served in community every Wednesday each month from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. All are welcome.

Food Pantry

There is hunger in Northwest Arkansas and so we sponsor a food pantry on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. We are currently in need of canned tuna or chicken, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, deodorant, and bar soap.
